Our pick

Acer Aspire Lite 15 AI

Why it fits you

The lowest-cost option, with enough memory and SSD storage for everyday creative work such as photo editing, graphic design, and light video editing.
Its integrated graphics and smaller storage are limiting for demanding effects, 3D work, and large media libraries.
The supplied AL15-46P-R4GG name is not in the authoritative lineup, so this sanctioned family name is used instead.

Acer Aspire 14 AI

Why it fits you

A balanced creative-work laptop with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD, making it more comfortable for multitasking and larger projects than the cheaper pick.
Integrated graphics still limit demanding 3D rendering and advanced video effects, but the newer compact design is the strongest all-round choice here.

Acer Aspire 16 AI

Why it fits you

The largest screen provides more workspace for timelines, canvases, and side-by-side creative tools while retaining 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage.
It is the most suitable of these three for productivity-focused creative work, though integrated graphics remain unsuitable for demanding 3D or professional effects.

Frequently asked questions

Are laptops under €800 in Italy good enough for photo editing?

Yes, laptops such as the Acer Aspire Lite 15 AI, Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI can handle everyday photo editing, especially when configured with sufficient memory and SSD storage. They are best suited to 2D work and moderate projects rather than demanding professional workloads.

How much RAM should a creative laptop under €800 have?

For creative work, 16GB of RAM is a strong target because it supports photo editors, browser tabs and other applications more comfortably. Eight gigabytes may be adequate for lighter tasks, but can feel restrictive with large files or multitasking.

Can these Acer laptops edit 4K video?

They can handle light 4K editing and short projects, but performance depends on the processor, integrated or dedicated graphics and available memory. For frequent effects-heavy editing, proxies or a more powerful GPU may be preferable.

What ports should I look for in a creative laptop in Italy?

Useful ports include USB-C, multiple USB-A connections, HDMI and a headphone jack for displays, drives and creative accessories. An SD or microSD card reader is also valuable for photographers, although a USB card reader may be needed if it is not built in.
