Frequently asked questions

Can I buy a gaming laptop under €450 in Italy?

Yes, especially during sales or with refurbished models, but check the exact CPU, GPU, RAM and condition. Prices and configurations for the MSI Thin 15, ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and Lenovo LOQ 15 can vary considerably.

What GPU should I look for in a gaming laptop under €450?

A dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX or GTX GPU generally offers better gaming performance than integrated graphics, but the exact chip and power limit matter. At this budget, verify the GPU configuration rather than relying on a laptop’s model name.

How much RAM and SSD storage do I need for gaming?

Aim for 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD if the configuration fits your budget. Some lower-priced models have 8 GB of RAM or smaller storage, so check whether the memory and SSD can be upgraded.

How long does a gaming laptop battery last while gaming?

Gaming can drain a laptop battery quickly, and performance may also be reduced when it is unplugged. Expect to connect the charger for demanding games; battery life is more relevant for browsing, streaming and other light tasks.
