Frequently asked questions

Is OLED or QLED better for everyday TV use in Italy?

OLED usually delivers deeper blacks and stronger contrast for films and streaming, while QLED can offer higher brightness in rooms with lots of daylight. For mixed everyday viewing, choose based on room brightness and your preference for contrast or peak luminance.

Do these TVs support 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 for gaming?

The recommended models are designed for modern gaming, with 120Hz-class refresh rates and HDMI 2.1 features on compatible inputs. They can also support features such as VRR for smoother gameplay with current consoles and PCs.

Which TV is best for a bright living room in Italy?

A brighter QLED or high-end LED TV can be easier to see in direct daylight, while premium OLED models remain excellent when positioned away from strong reflections. Check the room's window placement and use blinds or curtains if glare is noticeable.

Which HDR formats should an everyday TV support?

Look for HDR10 and HLG for broad compatibility, plus Dolby Vision for supported films and shows. HDR performance also depends on panel brightness, contrast and the TV's processing, not just the list of formats.
