Frequently asked questions

Is OLED or QLED better for movies and streaming in Italy?

OLED usually offers deeper blacks, stronger contrast and more cinematic viewing in dark rooms. QLED can be brighter and better suited to bright living rooms, especially for daytime streaming.

How bright should a premium TV be for an Italian living room?

Choose higher peak brightness if your room has strong daylight or large windows. OLED is excellent in controlled lighting, while bright QLED and advanced LED models can handle reflections and sunlight more effectively.

Do I need 120Hz, VRR and HDMI 2.1 if I mainly stream movies?

They are not essential for films, but 120Hz can improve motion handling and HDMI 2.1 with VRR is valuable if you also connect a PS5, Xbox Series X or gaming PC. These features also help future-proof a premium TV.

Which HDR formats should a TV support for streaming in Italy?

Dolby Vision and HDR10 are important for compatible streaming content, while HDR10+ is useful on services and devices that support it. Check both the TV and your streaming platform for format compatibility.
