Toshiba C450 Series Quantum Dot 4K

    Why it fits you

    • The lowest-cost option here, offering a sharp 4K picture and quantum-dot color for sports viewing.
    • Its 60Hz panel is adequate for general watching but less fluid during fast action than the two pricier 144Hz choices.
    • It is the sensible pick for keeping spending low while retaining a modern smart-TV experience.

    Frequently asked questions

Is a 120Hz TV worth it for watching sports in Portugal?

Yes. A 120Hz panel can show fast ball movement and camera pans more smoothly than a 60Hz TV, especially with compatible broadcasts, streaming content or gaming.

What TV brightness is best for watching sports in a bright Portuguese room?

Choose a bright QLED or Mini LED TV if sunlight or strong indoor lighting affects your viewing area. Higher peak brightness helps highlights remain visible and reduces the washed-out look common on dimmer screens.

Is OLED or QLED better for watching football and other sports?

OLED offers excellent contrast and quick pixel response, while QLED and Mini LED models usually provide higher brightness and are often better suited to bright rooms. Both can be strong choices for sports.

Do I need HDMI 2.1 and VRR on a sports TV under €700?

They are not essential for TV broadcasts, but HDMI 2.1 and VRR are valuable if you also use a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or gaming PC. They support smoother gaming at higher frame rates and can make one TV more versatile.
