    Frequently asked questions

What is the best TV under €700 for watching football in the Netherlands?

The Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series 2026 is a strong choice for football because its Mini LED backlight can deliver higher brightness and improved contrast. A fast refresh rate also helps keep quick passes and camera pans smooth.

Is 120Hz important for sports on a TV under €700?

A 120Hz panel can make fast sports motion look smoother than 60Hz, especially during football, tennis and Formula 1 broadcasts. It is most useful when the TV and source both support the higher refresh rate.

Are QLED or Mini LED TVs better for sports in a bright Dutch living room?

QLED and Mini LED models are generally better suited to bright rooms than standard LED TVs because they can offer stronger brightness and colour volume. Mini LED usually provides better contrast, while QLED can offer vivid colours at a lower price.

Which TV features matter for sports and PS5 gaming under €700?

Look for 120Hz support, VRR and HDMI 2.1, as these can improve motion and reduce tearing when gaming. For sports broadcasts, also check peak brightness, HDR support and the smart platform used for streaming apps.
