    Frequently asked questions

What is the best TV under €350 for sports in the Netherlands?

The TCL QM6L Mini LED is a strong choice for sports because its Mini LED backlight can deliver high brightness and improved contrast. The Toshiba M550 Series and Hisense E7S Pro are worthwhile alternatives with QLED colour and gaming-focused features.

Is QLED or LED better for watching sports?

QLED TVs generally offer brighter, more vivid colours than standard LED models, which can help sports look clearer in a bright room. Mini LED can provide better contrast and brightness control, while OLED offers excellent motion and black levels but is less common under €350.

Do I need 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 for sports on a TV under €350?

A 120Hz panel can make fast movement look smoother, but many affordable TVs use 60Hz panels with motion processing. HDMI 2.1 and VRR matter most if you also plan to connect a PS5 or Xbox Series X, rather than for ordinary broadcast sports.

Which TV brightness is best for watching football in a bright Dutch living room?

Choose a TV with strong peak brightness and good anti-glare performance if sunlight enters the room. Mini LED and QLED models are often better suited to bright spaces than basic LED TVs, while careful positioning can also reduce reflections.
