Frequently asked questions

Which TV panel is best for movies under €700 in Italy?

OLED offers the deepest blacks and strongest contrast, making it excellent for dark-room movie nights. QLED and Mini LED models can be brighter and better suited to rooms with lots of daylight.

Is 120Hz important for a TV used mainly for streaming?

Most films and streaming shows do not require 120Hz, but it can improve motion handling and is valuable for sports and gaming. Look for VRR and HDMI 2.1 if you also use a modern PlayStation or Xbox.

Which HDR formats should an Italian streaming TV support?

HDR10 is widely supported, while Dolby Vision can improve compatible films and series through services such as Netflix and Disney+. HDR10+ is also useful, particularly for content mastered in that format.

Which smart TV platform is best for streaming in Italy?

Google TV, webOS and other major platforms provide access to popular Italian and international streaming apps. Check that the services you use, such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and RaiPlay, are available before buying.
