Frequently asked questions

What is the best TV for watching sports in Italy under €2,250?

The TCL QM7L QD-Mini LED is a strong choice for bright rooms and fast sports action, while the LG C6 OLED evo and Samsung S90H offer excellent contrast and smooth motion.

Is OLED or QLED better for watching football in a bright room?

QLED and Mini LED TVs generally deliver higher full-screen brightness, making them effective in sunny rooms. OLED provides deeper blacks and excellent viewing angles but may need more careful placement away from direct light.

Do I need a 120Hz TV and HDMI 2.1 for sports?

A 120Hz panel can make fast movement look smoother and reduce blur. HDMI 2.1 is especially useful if you also connect a modern console, as it supports features such as 4K at 120Hz and VRR.

Which HDR formats and smart platforms matter for sports streaming in Italy?

HDR10 and HLG are useful for compatible broadcasts and streaming services, while Dolby Vision can improve supported on-demand content. Check that the TV's smart platform provides the Italian apps and services you use most.
