Frequently asked questions

What refresh rate is best for watching sports on a TV in Italy?

A native 120Hz panel is ideal for football, tennis and motorsport because it keeps fast movement smoother and clearer than a standard 60Hz screen. It also supports modern consoles more effectively.

Is OLED or QLED better for sports in a bright Italian room?

QLED and Mini LED TVs generally offer higher peak brightness, making them a strong choice for sunny living rooms. OLED delivers excellent contrast and viewing angles, but a bright Mini LED model may be easier to watch during the day.

Do I need HDMI 2.1 and VRR for a sports TV?

HDMI 2.1 and VRR are not essential for broadcast sports, but they are valuable if you also game on a PS5 or Xbox Series X. Look for 4K at 120Hz, low input lag and VRR support for the most responsive experience.

Which HDR formats should a sports TV support?

HDR10 is widely supported, while Dolby Vision can improve compatible streaming content with dynamic picture adjustments. HLG is also useful because it is designed for HDR broadcasts and live television.
