    Frequently asked questions

Which TV technology is best for a bright room in Germany: OLED, QLED or Mini LED?

QLED and Mini LED TVs usually suit bright rooms best because they can reach higher full-screen brightness and handle reflections effectively. OLED offers excellent contrast, but some models may look less bright in direct daylight.

Is 120Hz important for gaming on a TV in a bright room?

Yes, a 120Hz panel can make fast games and sports look smoother, while VRR reduces tearing. Look for HDMI 2.1 if you want 4K gaming at up to 120 frames per second on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

Which HDR formats should a TV in Germany support?

HDR10 is widely supported, while Dolby Vision can improve compatible streaming and movie content. HDR10+ is also useful for services and discs that use dynamic HDR, so checking format support is worthwhile.

How can I reduce reflections when watching TV in a sunny German living room?

Choose a TV with a bright panel and effective anti-reflection coating, then position it away from windows and direct sunlight. Closing blinds during the brightest hours can further improve contrast and HDR impact.
