Frequently asked questions

Is QLED or Mini LED better for everyday TV viewing?

QLED is a strong choice for bright rooms and general streaming, while Mini LED usually delivers better contrast, deeper blacks and higher peak brightness. For everyday use, choose based on room lighting and your preference for HDR performance.

Do I need a 120Hz TV for watching TV and streaming in France?

A 120Hz panel is not essential for films, news or most broadcast programmes, which commonly use lower frame rates. It is useful for smoother sports and gaming, especially when combined with VRR and HDMI 2.1.

Which HDR formats should a TV in France support?

HDR10 is widely supported, while Dolby Vision can improve compatible films and series through streaming services. HDR10+ is also useful, but the importance of each format depends on the apps and content you use most.

Is HDMI 2.1 important for everyday TV use?

HDMI 2.1 is mainly valuable for next-generation consoles, 4K gaming at up to 120Hz, VRR and eARC. If you mostly watch broadcast TV and streaming, HDMI 2.0 may be sufficient, but HDMI 2.1 adds useful long-term flexibility.
