    Frequently asked questions

Is OLED or QLED better for gaming in Spain?

OLED usually delivers deeper blacks, faster pixel response and excellent contrast, making it ideal for dark-room gaming. QLED can be preferable in bright Spanish rooms because its higher sustained brightness is more resistant to glare.

Do premium gaming TVs in Spain need 120Hz and HDMI 2.1?

Yes, 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 are important for PS5, Xbox Series X and gaming PCs that support 4K at up to 120 frames per second. HDMI 2.1 also enables features such as high-bandwidth video and VRR.

Which HDR formats should a gaming TV support?

Look for HDR10, which is widely supported by games and consoles, plus HDR10+ or Dolby Vision where available. The TV’s brightness, contrast and tone mapping matter as much as format compatibility.

Is peak brightness important for gaming in a bright room?

Yes. Higher peak and sustained brightness can make HDR highlights clearer and reduce the effect of daylight or strong indoor lighting, although OLED remains compelling if you can control reflections and room brightness.
