    iPhone 17 Pro

    Why it fits you

    • The most compact and least expensive option here, while still offering Apple's newest Pro performance, excellent cameras, long software support, USB-C, 5G, and straightforward everyday operation.
    • It is particularly well suited to calls, messaging, and users who prefer a manageable size.
    • Compared with the Pro Max, it sacrifices screen area and battery life; compared with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it offers a simpler iOS experience but less storage flexibility.

    iPhone 17 Pro Max

    iPhone 17 Pro Max

    Why it fits you

    • This is the strongest all-round iPhone choice, combining the same Pro hardware as the smaller model with a larger display and longer battery life.
    • It is ideal if basic communication is the priority but you also want maximum endurance and comfortable screen readability. Compared with the iPhone 17 Pro, it is larger and heavier; compared with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it has a more streamlined interface but lacks the S Pen and Android customization.

    Why it fits you

    • The most feature-rich Android option, with generous storage, a large high-refresh-rate display, an integrated S Pen, and a versatile camera system.
    • For calls and messaging it is more than powerful enough, while Android offers extensive customization and multitasking. Compared with both iPhones, it provides twice the listed storage and pen support, though its software experience is less uniform if you already use Apple devices.

    Frequently asked questions

Which iPhone 17 Pro model has the best battery life for everyday use in Spain?

The iPhone 17 Pro Max generally offers the longest battery life because of its larger battery. It is better suited to heavy daily use, travel and long periods away from a charger.

Is the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra better than the iPhone 17 Pro for photos?

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is a strong choice for zoom, flexibility and detailed outdoor photography. The iPhone 17 Pro is especially appealing for consistent point-and-shoot results, video quality and natural-looking portraits.

Which premium phone is best for long-term software updates in Spain?

All three phones are designed for long-term support, but update policies can vary by manufacturer and region. Check the current official Apple and Samsung support commitments before buying, especially if you plan to keep the phone for several years.

How much battery life should I expect from these phones during normal daily use?

The iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and Galaxy S26 Ultra should comfortably handle common tasks such as messaging, browsing, navigation, photography and streaming, although heavy gaming and 5G use can reduce endurance.
